Your first visit, start to finish
The ten minute path from a new account to a client in a call.
- Who can use it
- All staff
Do these in order. Each one links to the detail if you want it.
-
Set up your waiting room. A photo, your display name, and a welcome message. It is the first thing a client sees and it takes two minutes. See Set up your waiting room.
-
Turn on check-in notifications. A text or an email when somebody arrives, so you are not watching the screen. See Get notified when a client checks in.
-
Test it on yourself. Open your own room link in a private browser window, check in with a made-up name, and watch yourself appear in your queue. Five minutes here saves the first real appointment.
-
Send the link. Copy it from My Room and put it in the appointment reminder you already send. See Share your room link.
-
Admit the client. When they check in, select Start call on their row. See Start a call with a waiting client.
-
End the call. End call finishes it for both of you. See End a call, or leave one.
Before the first real one
Run Test Your Connection on the machine and network you will use.
