HIPAA LINK gives you two kinds of room. They differ in who can see the queue (the list of clients waiting).
Use a personal room
Every provider has one. It has its own check-in link, and only you see who is waiting in it. No other staff member in your clinic can take a client waiting for you.
Use it when clients are booked with you specifically.
Use a shared room
A shared room belongs to the clinic rather than to one provider. It has one check-in link, and every staff member you add to it sees the same queue and can take the next client.
Use it for a front desk, for intake, or anywhere the next free staff member takes the next client.
A shared room link carries your clinic URL as well as the room name, which is how two clinics can
both have a room called front-desk:

Know which room a client lands in
Whichever link they used. A client who checks in at a shared room link waits in that room’s queue. A client who uses your personal link waits in yours.
You can move a client from one room to the other. They keep their place in line and are not asked to check in again.
