Credits are held by the organization, not by each person, and one feature spends them.
What spends them
AI Progress Notes is the only thing that draws on credits. Each recorded session costs one, whatever length it ran to, so a ten minute visit and an hour cost the same.
Notes Generator does not use credits at all. It has a free allowance of its own, 100 notes a month, shown on its page as Free Credits. Running out does not fall back to the organization’s credits, and buying credits does not raise it. That allowance is also counted per browser rather than per account. See Write a note without a recording.
See what is left and add more
Open Account Settings › AI Progress Notes. The balance is shown there, and Add Credits buys more.
Total Available Credits is the figure to watch. A session cannot be recorded without a credit for it.
What to know
- Credits are shared across the whole organization, so one person can use what another was relying on.
- Buying credits is an admin action.
